Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-28

These terms govern your use of PardyTime, a party-game platform operated by Grepbyte, CVR 37053988, Strandvejen 81, 3070 Snekkersten, Denmark ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

PardyTime lets you host and join real-time multiplayer party games, including Jeopardy-style boards, Trivia rounds, and Cards prompts. You can play as a guest or create an account to host and create games, and unlock paid features.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • Provide an email you actually control: sign-in happens by emailing you a one-time code.
  • One account per person. Keep your inbox secure; anyone with access to your email can sign in.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, including through display names or custom content;
  • Upload content you do not have the rights to, or content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights;
  • Upload illegal content, including illegal sexual content;
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or run automated load against the service;
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute official paid content;
  • Use the service to send spam or interfere with other players' games.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and remove content that does the same.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the games and other content you create on PardyTime ("your content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and share your content as needed to operate the service: for example, showing it to other players in a room you host, or rendering a public link you share.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload any text, images, or other material you include in your content, and that sharing it through PardyTime does not infringe anyone else's rights.

When you delete your content or your account, we stop displaying it. Cached copies may take a short time to clear from the global edge.

5. Paid plans and purchases

On the free plan you can play any game, host any public game, and make, save and host up to 2 games of your own. A free game can hold up to 3 images and 3 blurs, and no audio or YouTube clips. Games on the free plan are public. A free lobby holds up to 10 player devices, the host's included. Extra host screens and screens that only watch don't count.

PardyTime Plus is sold as a 7-Day Pass ($4.99) and as Monthly ($6.99 a month) and Yearly ($49.99 a year) subscriptions. On top of the free plan, Plus lets you:

  • make and save as many games as you like;
  • use as many images and blurs as you like, and audio and YouTube clips;
  • make your games private;
  • copy other people's public games and edit your copy;
  • host lobbies of 50 player devices plus the host.

A pass is one payment and never renews. It starts when you pay. You can add a pass while one is running; it starts when the passes before it end. If you have a subscription that you have cancelled, a pass starts when your paid period ends.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in Settings, Billing; you keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for and are not charged again. If you subscribe while a pass is running, your subscription starts and is first charged when the pass ends. If you bought Lifetime Plus, you keep Plus with no recurring charge.

Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and include any applicable VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorise the charge for the pass, or for the subscription at each renewal until you cancel.

When Plus ends, you keep what you made: you can still host all your games, private games stay private, and your uploads keep working. Games within the free limits stay editable. Games over them (more than 3 images or 3 blurs, or any audio or YouTube clip) can be hosted and deleted but not edited until you have Plus again. You cannot make a new game while you have 2 or more, copy games, or host more than 10 player devices.

6. Your right to withdraw

Plus is a digital service. Each pass you buy is its own contract, and you can withdraw from each one, or from a subscription, within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days run from the day you buy, or from the day our purchase confirmation email reaches you if that is later.

Before you pay for a pass, you ask us to start Plus straight away, or to add the pass's days straight away when it starts after the one you have, and accept that your right to withdraw ends once the pass is used up. Before you pay for a subscription, you ask us to start Plus straight away, or when your pass ends. If you withdraw from a pass or paid period that has started, we refund what you paid minus an amount for the days you have had Plus from it: the price paid multiplied by those days (each started day counts) divided by the days in the pass or paid period, rounded to the nearest cent. If you withdraw from a pass that has not started yet, we refund everything you paid for it.

To withdraw, use Withdraw from contract here in Settings, Billing, or email support@grepbyte.com saying that you are withdrawing. You can use the form below, but you do not have to. We confirm that we received it, and refund you within 14 days of receiving it, to the payment method you used and without any fee. When you withdraw from a pass, it ends straight away: Plus from it stops, or it never starts, and any pass after it starts when the ones before it end. When you withdraw from a subscription, Plus ends when we process the withdrawal.

7. Refunds

Beyond the statutory withdrawal right in section 6, the following applies. Email support@grepbyte.com to request a refund and include the order ID from your Stripe receipt.

7.1 How long it takes

We respond to refund requests within 5 business days. If a refund is approved, the amount is returned to your original payment method via Stripe; depending on your bank, it typically arrives within 5 to 10 business days.

7.2 Accidental renewals

If your monthly or yearly subscription has renewed but you have not used the service since the renewal date, contact us within 14 days of that renewal and we will refund the renewal in full and cancel the subscription.

7.3 Unused days

We do not normally refund the unused days of a pass, or of a subscription you cancel: your access simply continues until it ends. We will make a pro-rata refund for the unused days of a pass or paid period when:

  • You experienced more than 24 cumulative hours of service outage in that period, or
  • We materially change paid features in a way that disadvantages you and you cancel within 14 days of being notified.

The pro-rata amount is calculated as price paid multiplied by (days remaining divided by total days in the pass or period), rounded to the nearest cent.

7.4 Lifetime Plus

Lifetime Plus is no longer sold. A lifetime purchase could be refunded within 14 days of the purchase date, provided Plus features had not been used since the purchase; after that, it is non-refundable.

7.5 Chargebacks

If you have a payment problem, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank: almost every issue can be resolved faster directly. Chargebacks opened without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution, and we will share the order, IP, and access records needed to respond with your card issuer. Once a chargeback is resolved in your favour, no further refund is owed for the same charge.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep PardyTime running smoothly, but the service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice before retiring features that paying customers rely on.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of data, or other indirect or consequential losses.

10. Termination

You can stop using PardyTime and delete your account at any time from the settings page. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, are inactive for an extended period, or where required by law. On termination, we will delete your data per the privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We will update this page when the service changes in a way that affects these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect for existing users. Continued use after that period means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Disputes will be handled by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer in another EU or EEA country, you keep the protection of any non-derogable consumer rights that apply where you live. You can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
